Our very dear friend Jess Wright, along with Simon Drew, Amanda Honour and their friends from Saffron Bootcamp did a muddy run to raise funds for the charity. They ended up raising over £1,500!!
The run was at Tunbridge Wells and is called The Major Series
They faced a number of horrifying obstacles and this is what the organisers said about it:
• There are 7 of thems running from Saffron Bootcamp (www.saffronbootcamp.com) with the help from Simon Drew, their coach.
• Most of them have minor exercise related injuries, bad backs, shin splints, dodgy knees etc. so will be a bit of a challenge.
• Simon and Saffron Bootcamp have decided to nominate Ethan’s charity as their main/only charity for any future events. We already have plans for a sponsored tyre flip in the market square at the late night shopping event in Saffron Walden soon, where we will be collecting loose change for the fund and we have just booked into the Spartan Sprint in Cambridge next year too! We have decided to wear out t-shirts for photos only on Saturday as they will get ruined; we can save them for our future events!
We are incredibly grateful to Jess and the Saffron Bootcamp gang.
