The 2017 REAL Rally rolled back in to England on Friday afternoon after three days of travelling through France and Belgium, taking in overnight stops at Bruges and Le Touquet. The Rally also took in mid-journey stopover lunches at the famous Belgian town of Ypres and the fascinating German WW2 bunker at La Coupole in France.
The 5th REAL Family Fun Day was held over the bank holiday weekend and as with previous years, the sun shone and another successful day was held at Saffron Walden Town Football Club.
For each of the previous three years, the sun has shone for REAL – The Ethan Rees Linwood Memorial Fund’s annual golf day at Saffron Walden and the weather didn’t disappoint again this year….

The REAL Rally arrived home on Saturday 23rd April following an eventful three-day tour of Northern Europe. Thirty-one teams entered the rally and whilst each of them got back, one was on the back of the support teams trailer, another needed three new batteries and a couple of others needed running repairs to get back to Blighty!
